I recently got into buying items on e bay after seeing purchases my mate bought. You can get some nice and different things. E bay is a online bidding website where public or sometimes companies put up items they wish to sell and the members of e bay bid on the items there desirer and the highest price wins, it is disappointing if you lose out I have to say but sometimes it's for the best if you don't really have the money to spend. When you have one the item you can pay by the following options Cheque or pay pal. Pay pal is a safe secure method of paying with out having to give out your bank details. You have to put your details on pay pal so they know what card it's coming from but the seller does not see this. The range of products on e bay is great from designer handbags, Shoes! , Tickets, books, DVD's. Type the product you wish for in the search box and it's bound to come up.

Advantages of ebay would be you could find something different, good price

Disadvantages would be getting out bid and it can be additive
